Halloween Party Treats: Cookie Eyeballs

Fun cookie eyeballs make with ready made cookies, icing and candies. Quick easy and very cute. I used three methods for the eyeballs, edible ink marker (that doesn’t write well on candy melting wafers), food colour and “Cake Mate Scribblers” (icing in a tube that is designed to be used on cookies and dries hard and shiny) New cake pop coming up tomorrow. Halloween Party Treats: Severed Fingers

How to make some creepy Halloween treats. You can add food colour to the cookie dough to make green coloured fingers. Other Halloween treats coming up in the next few days :) Thanks for watching !! Use whatever sugar cookie recipe you would like, below is a good one: Ingredients 1 cup butter,softened 1 cup icing sugar 1 egg 1 tsp almond extract 1 tsp vanilla 2-3/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 3/4 cup whole blanched almonds 1 tube (19 g) red decorator gel, (blood for fingers) Preparation In bowl, beat together butter, sugar, egg, almond extract and vanilla; beat in flour, baking powder and salt. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Place on lightly greased baking sheets; bake in 325°F (160°C) oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until pale golden. Let cool for 3 minutes.
